Pain in right side when walking! HELP PLEASE

Hi, for about 7 months now I've been having a sharp pain in my right side when I walk, at first it was only long distances but now a 2 minute walk to school sets it off.

I've been to the doctors and he said it may be something to do with my period cycle but it only really happens when i walk.

I really don't know what it could be and I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and got to tje bottom of it?

Thank you xx

What do you mean. Lower or upper on right side. Any nausea.

Your best option is to keep going back to your doctor for tests to get proper advice, diagnosis and treatment.  Only a doctor can do this.  It could be any number of things.  Very few of us are doctors on this site, so we cannot give you a diagnosis.

I'll be ringing my doctors again but I wondered if anyone epse had been through it xx

It's 3 finger width down from the right ribcage, so it's sort of in the middle.

No nausea that i can think of xx

Do you get any pain after eating?  Have you strained a muscle while walking?  Has gastritis or costochondritis been mentioned?

If anything it gets better 20 minutes after eating.. No nothing like that has been mentioned, I'll mention them next time I go xx

Might be gastrointestinal if it improves after eating.  Ask to see a gastro specialist.
