I have been experiencing pain and extreme tenderness along a band from the side of my foot (on the inner side) to the middle of the bottom of my foot. You can feel the band because it is kind of hard and it is swollen. It did have a little bruising but that is gone. The pain and tenderness continues to get worse. It is worse in the mornings and my calf does hurt - which suggests plantar faciitis, but my heel does not hurt at all. I could find nothing on the internet with this issue. It is extremely painful. I am going to the foot surgeon next week but was just wondering if anyone had any ideas!!
