Pain in the butt

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so how have you dealt with it.

This is the third time I have had these symptoms, it starts like a dull pain, like piles, but it seems to radiate deep inside and all along underneath, it makes me feel sick and bad, even though the pain isnt excruciating, it seems to be knawing, and hard to pinpoint where it come from.

It goes away when lying down, and tends to be slightly worse when sitting straight on, almost like piles.

Anyway it took 8 weeks to resolve the last time.

I saw a doctor that examined me internally, and he said its some sort of muscle contraction, did say a name, cant remember, he said its caused by anxiety, well as we all know everything seems to be, but he just said to take pain killers and ride it out, which i did, 8 weeks, it was awful, then one morning it just disappeared, but now its back.

I have been having a large amount of stress lately, and am very anxious, but this just makes things worse,

Please if anyone has had anything like this please get back to me, and any ideas how to resolve it quicker. Thanks

Surely someone can relate please .........

A lot of nerves in the tailbone area (sciatica) as well as could be a muscle spasm.  I want to kick every doctor that wants to blame hard to diagnose problems on anxiety.  Muscle spasms can be a symptom of low magnesium, check your diet, maybe add some supplements, check if you're having any problems with allergies or foods.  Stress can deplete vitamin and mineral stores in the body, especially if you're not eating properly because of the stressful situation.

What kind of tests did you do?  Did he check your blood?  If so, then get another opinion and if not, get one blood test and any other related.

Try to calm down and think of your recovery.  That'll at least help you and your body.

I'm sorry I couldn't give you an answer you wanted for I do not know what you have exactly.

I hope you feel better. smile
