Hi all. After about 3 1/2 months and a manipulation I was feeling great. No more pain and excellent ROM. Then, about 3 weeks after that (2 weeks ago) started getting pain again. Nothing like I had after the TKR, but upsetting bc I figured I'd continue to progress. Going downstairs is especially painful (although I had been doing it beautifully) and sometimes just taking a walk or sleeping hurts. Anyone have a similar experience?

I had ups and downs. I especially felt depressed when things would be going along well and then I would have pain again. I am 10 months post LTKR and I finally feel like it was a good decision. I'm struggling now just anticipating my TRKR on October 9. Time...it takes time! Don't loose hope most folks I've talked with say 1 year. I can't believe I'm going to start the process all over again! Take care and be kind to yourself!
Thank you Tammy. I had such a tough recovery and thought I was finally home free. Hopefully this set back is just temporary. Good luck with your upcoming surgery. Hopefully we'll all feel that 1 (or 2 yrs) was worth having good knees and being able to do all the things we enjoy.
