Pain left abdomen

hi I have been experiencing discomfort and burning sensation in my lower abdomen.I had my appendix out through a lap procedure about 4 weeks ago and have been to the docs and he's happy with the outcome and wounds look to healed ok.Prior to that by about 7 weeks I was diagnosed with 3 kidney stones also on my left side .

I have passed 2 but still am awaiting passing the 3 rd one .WHen I was at the docs I mentioned that I was in a little pain and he had a feel around and said every thing breeds ok and it's probably just my kidney stone moving around.My Bowles have also been irregular with normal to constipation to loose.I rang my doc last week and he said to maybe wait another week .He doesn't seem to concerned as when I have my appendix op a CT was done and if there was any problems it would have shown up as they check all manner of things in the abdomen when searching for a pain that turned out to be my appendix.I just wounder if I've torn maybe a muscle in my stomach as I did some heavy lifting not long out of hospital 4 weeks ago.Any ideas would be help full.

Ask about IBS if you are having burning and abdominal pain with change of bowel habit.  Did you tell your doctor about your bowel irregularities?  Appendix surgery can trigger IBS.

Pippa- no I haven't told him yet I will on my next visit which will be in 2 days.Im still eating so no problem there,urination is all good better than before my appendix op which is strange.Im 50 years young so you do tend to think all sorts of crazy thoughts concerning your body.Every thing you read on the net points to the big C in one way form or another .

I fell into the Dr Google trap too in an effort to give doctors more to go on.  It took three and a half months to get my IBS diagnosed!
