Pain meds

I had my RTHP on 12/26/18 and woke up in excruciating pain. It took a few days to get pain under control and I went to rehab for a week and came home feeling food. I had in-home rehab and have started outpatient. So, I think it’s approximately 5 weeks since surgery. I have been taking 2-3 Norco 5-325 (Vicodin) and as long as I take in in the morning before walking my dogs and in the evening, I’m fine. After out-ptient rehab on Friday, I have lower back pain, pain in my groin and knee. Same symptoms as before surgery. I also have spinal difficulties which I won’t go into. I’ll let my pt know about the pain. When I had both knees replaced, I was directed to take pain meds before pt. The surgeon that I now have is incredibly reluctant to provide pain med. I have no more and am in pain. I just pt a call into whomever is covering for him and waiting for a call back. But, I’m at my wits end. I want to walk and not be in pain, I want to do pt and not be in pain, and when I am, I feel like my knee cap is the size of a basketball and my leg is throbbing. Anyo e experience this? Any advice?

Thanks in advance,
Georgette

ps - I DON’T take 2-3 pills at a time, I take 2-3 daily.
