Pain on side of leg?

Hi all , I wonder if any of you lovley peeps have experienced this!? 7 months ago I had a TRHR  done the posterior way , I had my usual pulling and pains for about 12 /14 weeks after, then hey presto I felt quite good just a little sore on the hip joint , Now the last week or so I am getting sharp pains and tenderness when I lay on my operated side which before was fine , also just walking the pains are quite bad !!! I had waited nearly 20 years for this replacement so I know it was well in need of doing, but  I don’t understand why I’m having any pain after so long? The bone on bone pain has gone ... thank goodness! But now this has developed hopefully it goes as quickly as it came , I also did my physio therapy for about 3 months after my surgery 😁 ..

Dear Julie

I would be inclined to make an appointment with a good chiropractor if only to eliminate the possibility that your back is out of true in some way, and to check that you are not suffering from muscle spasm issues. I would choose a chiropractor who uses the traditional approach rather than a McTimoney trained one.

Please keep us posted. Cheers Richard

I believe if it just started to possible see your surgeon.  Have you overdone any exercise or walking. Remember, it can take 12-18 months to totally heal especially with posterior Approach. Good luck

Thank you Ken  for your advice 😁
