Hi I newly diagnosed with fibro I also have primary Hillary cirhossis which is under control with urso I have psoiatric arthritis plus fibro these symptons overlap I can t take any of the usual meds for fibro coz of liver problems I'm struggling with the tiredness big time I do school cleaning but thinking I'm going to have to give up today I got a tummy bug and hurt like never hurt before would thisbecoz of the fibro

Hi Clara19942 Hope you are soon over you tummy bug, not nice pleasent thing to have . I have found when Ive had a stomach bug that fibro certainly hasnt helped pain wise I have been in more pain..Many of us have had to give work because of fibro, those that work do struggle, its not easy at all working with fibro.Hope you feel much better soon take care gentle hug

thank you tummy bug has now cleared feeling delicate but getting there yes the pain was unbelievable and hips are not good at all one of the big issues im haveing is the going hot which will last for 3/4 days has anyone got a remedy for it i know it not ahormone prob x
I have times when Im boiling hot it varies on how long it lasts eg day weeks etc. then a period where I can be freezing cold. When Im boiling hot I have cool showers use flannels and cool strips to help cool me and a fan.x
Gentle hugs Clara.... Glad your somewhat over the tummy bug.. nasty things they are. I also go for days on end 24/7 just belting hot...! Sweat dripping off my back, (body) hair drenched. It's a nasty faze and I can say 'I hate it'... and I loathe to use that word... Then I can get hugely affected at times by the slightest wind chill... tsk tsk
have nt chance yet to feel the cold i have gone from being on hrt for 19 yrs following a full hysterectomy to stopping them without reducing so had a few heat probs doing that lol this heat is not like my hormone sweats its like you say all over never used so much deoderant it is such a depressing illness i am thinking about stopping work there not happy coz of time off but like everyone else need the wages decision time soon hope you have a doos few days
