For a few days I have been experiencing pain under my ribs on the right side high up. It seems worse in the morning like I have turned over and hurt it.
If I am still and do not move it is okay.
I am feeling tired too. I have a number of conditions like osteoporosis and Crohns so not sure if there is a link.
any suggestions as to what this might be?
I did wonder about a hiatus hernia. How long have you had it & have you been to your GP yet?
I have not been concerning this as was only at my doctor's two weeks ago.
Not sure about hiatus hernia but did have a scan six months or so ago and that turned up gallstones and diverticulitis. The latter was lower though!
It feels a bit like a strain or pulled muscle because if I do not move it is okay.
I am just guessing though!
It's about the right place for gallstones. Does the pain increase if you have fatty food, for example?

Thanks for that. That is a distinct possibility.
My diet had been challenged by visitors and birthdays recently.
I hope you will be able to sort it out very soon & begin to feel better. Good luck Kathleen
Thanks. I will refrain from fatty foods and take some panadol.
I will assume it is gallstones as diagnosed already and in the right place for that.
I see my Crohns specialist in ten days and that is in his domain as well.
Last night it was in the middle high up in the chest so has me a little worried.
Hi Kathleen, could you telephone your Specialist's secretary & see if your appt could be brought forward by a few days? Or perhaps she would be able to get some advice for you until you see the specialist.
