Pain-unsure of the cause?

I had my gallbladder removed almost a month ago (it will be a month in the 7th). Had my post op appointment last week and everything looks good most days I feel really well and have to remind myself that i had surgery.

Today I’ve had a dull, achy pain right under my ribs on the right side. I haven’t been overly active today, but this past week has been busier than normal. I also haven’t been eating the best today however (cue stressful day!)
I’m wondering of this pain is normal post op pain (This was my first surgery!) or if my liver is going to start getting angry at me now as well.

I’d appreciate some advice or experience!

Well, it’s only been a month. That is not long at all. I hope you are resting still. Because you could still pull or hurt your insides. I rested for a couple of months before working. Also stress is a big factor in your recovery. You need less stress right now to help your body heal. Eating healthy should be a must to help you recover too. The pain you are feeling is called"phantom" pain. Your body thinks your gallbladder is still there. Its normal. I really don’t think your liver is a problem. So good luck and stay healthy.

hi nexia. most likely nothing to worry about. I had pain on and off for a few months. It just takes time for your body to heal.
