I have pain in my back near my spine (about 3 inch across) and a horrible grating feeling under my right rib (gets worse when I drive) that radiates a pain towards the hip and also grating pain under bottom left rib. Gallstones? xx

Any type of activity including walking now upsets it and brings it on.

i would say no, but go to your local doctors to be checked out, my severe pain for gall bladder was like a stabbing pain, awful,on right hand side of stomach,stuck it for 3 days,?? then operated on took all gall bladder out,

I would agree with Terry. It doesn't sound like gallstones to me either. If you don't have symptoms like nausea, being sick, diarrhoea, lack of appetite, bloating, wind and tiredness along with pain that I can only compare to labour pains but with no respite, then it doesn't sound like it could be gallstones, but there's only one way to tell - go to your GP and get tests done.
