Could really use some help diagnosing this painful discoloration/rash on my penis glands. This has been here for almost two months. There is discoloration right around the urethra, and what looks like a swollen vein or potentially a blister? Everything gets worse after sex, even if its not very rough. Any friction directly on the glands hurts. The swollen looking vein thing appeared out of nowhere, and not after sex.
My dermatologist says its probably just some type of dermatitis and has me putting betamethasone ointment on it, but I feel like its something else as its not really helping or going away. Its also worth noting I have had multiple outbreaks of erosive ulcers on the shaft of my penis over the past few years and no doctor has been able to successfully diagnose them. Another derm I saw thinks it could be an auto immune problem and says the steroids are my only course of action also
Ive been tested for HIV, HSV1/2, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Syphilis, and they were all negative. Does anyone have an idea of what this could be? These issues are really affecting my mental health and im hoping to get to the bottom of it. Should I see a new derm? Perhaps some type of specialist?
What numerical values did the vhs2 tests come up with? and how many days did you do?
