Painful skin-tag type lump inside vagina?

After a particularly 'active' session with my partner my vagina was very sore for a few days. When we next had sex a week later, it was still slightly painful and that’s when I noticed the skin type lump inside my vagina opening (it was very hard to take a pic of as I had to really ‘pull’ everything out to see it, so it’s not sitting right outside the vagina opening). After this second time the lump seems to have been inflamed and it’s too painful to have sex now. It doesn’t look like a Bartholin’s cyst and maybe could be an STI, but I think it has something more to do with the friction that happened during sex as that’s when the pain started. Any help much appreciated

It looks like a small skin tag and yes they often get inflamed with sex of any kind.Just keep it clean, use lots of lube. They can be removed but usually are done so when you are under anaesthetic for other gynae procedures.
