About 4-5 days ago i engaged in anal sex with my bf, and afterwards i was a bit sore which i thought nothing of. Then a day or two afterwards i became super itchy and couldn't stop scratching because i thought it would go away, but when it didn't i stopped because i realized it was just making it hurt more. That night i noticed all these red bumps around my anus so i put hydrocortisone cream on it to soothe the itching and reduce the redness, but it still burned/hurt around the area which i thought would go away. I put the cream on it one more time to see if it would help but haven't since because it didn't, and now it just feels like a sharp pain whenever i move and i'm starting to get freaked out, especially after these pictures i just took when i woke up. The red bumps seem to have reduced but there are all these weird little dots in their place and there's more than i thought, and they look like they're eating away at the skin or something. Please help!! What should i do? Will it go away on its own or should i see a doctor?

The photos all show multiple superficial ulcers that would be indicative of genital herpes (below). Try to get a phone consult with your doctor/GP and ask for oral aciclovir medication; or else go to A&E or a local sexual health clinic for meds. For pain relief, sit in a bath tub filled with lukewarm salty (2-3 tablespoon of cooking salt) water and take paracetamol as required. If possible, go to the local drugstore/pharmacist for 1% lidocaine gel and apply this to the affected area.
