So 3 weeks ago I had this symptoms like yeast infection itchy, clumpy white discharge and I got treated it and the symptoms went away. Few days later I started to have this burning sensation inside my vagina and it was painful and I feel it was also swollen.
I went to my doc she examined it and dignosed it as trich as she mentioned I had frothy discharge. She took a swab and prescribed me with antibiotics for 5 days. My symptoms haven't gone away but the burning sensation is mild now. I went back to my doc and told her I feel my vagina lips are swollen and I feel something crawling along my vagina and that make it itch, and it is painful and swollen but no ulcer/lesion seen outside and inside vagina. My doc told me it is no way is herpes due to no ulcer found. I request my doc to swab me again and I'm still awaiting the result. I'm so nervous now, and I read from this forum I feel I'm 98% contracted herpes. My trich swab result came back negative.
I did have annual sti test for the pass 6 years, and every year it came back as negative. The last time it came back hsv 2 0.8 which is kinda high and hsv1 became positive (1.14).
