Painful Vestibule/Growth at Vaginal Opening

hi everyone i need some help. for the past two or three months ive had some discomfort down there. at first i thought it was pain inside my vagina, but about two weeks ago i got a little mirror and looked at my vagina and noticed what looked like growths at my vaginal opening... i never seen these before on me in the past but it has become very painful in the last few weeks. i went to my obgyn and he said it was my vestibules and that everything looked normal there were no signs up herpes or warts or anything.. i also tested negative for the other std tests they did. he said its probably just irritated from having a lot of sex lately but i told him ive been with my man for 6 months now and i didnt have such pain until recently. he told me to apply premarin estrogen cream for a few weeks to see if it helps with the pain and then follow up with him in 6 weeks. i made an appt with another gyn for a second opinion but have to wait two more weeks to see them. i just dont know what to do about this. youll see in the pictures i added that there is tha

I think you have vestibulitis which is not nice for you I’m sure. The first treatment is often with estrogen cream and you have already been given this so a good start. Its not know why this develops but if you can cut down on acidic foods in your diet that may help. ie no fruit or fruit juices especially the citrus fruits. Hopefully the estrogen cream and staying off acidic food may help you enough .
Try only washing this area with very cool water and not hot. No soap or shower gels. No feminine washes. Only wear cotton underwear, not polyester or nylon and dont wear thongs or tight pants that rub.
Good luck…hope it soon resolves.
