Due to the covid situation unless it is urgent it is almost impossible to get a doctors appointment, until I can I need to know if someone recognises this spot on the shaft of my penis, it is painless and does not produce any discharge.

I am by no means an expert, but this could be a wart.

If you are in the UK, there is a service on SH:24 where you can send off a picture and they will diagnose it.

If they think it is a wart, they will dispense the medicine - if not, they will refer you to a nurse to check it and you wont need to see your GP
