hi

i know the cipramil can take a few weeks to kick in so stick with it if you can.

im also taking a vitamin by wellwoman, but i also had a blood test which told me that i was low in vitamin d so i also take a supplement for that as well

i am 46 so think that im at the very early stages

had all the heart checks as well which all came back normal

you can try holy basil and lemon balm supplements . theyre is also a homeopathic remedy called 'calming ’ not sure who makes it but its a white and green bottle .

hi Eloise, I suffered with palpitations during peri and meno, horrible things, then id have panic attacks. got so bad i went on beta blockers. palps went from every 3 days to every 3 weeks then further apart. im just on 1/3 of the Bb dose now, 40 mg daily and hadnt had palps for months til the other night after eating. i found with me theres a link between gas after certain (carb) foods and palps. i did a diary..,id already suspected a link and the diary helped confirm it. ( i also went on sertraline for a year for anxiety then switched to low dose prozac due to weight gain on sert). i think the reason why i managed to cut down on palps is when i reduced my beta blockers i started taking magnesium (a year ago) as its supposed to act like a natural beta blocker. Of course, get advice from your doctor and health supplement store, but many people on here said magnesium helps reduce / eliminate palps. Check it out online. i also take vit d, B complex, omega 3. its been so long since i had them that it freaked me out the other night, had a mini panic attack! but it passed and been ok since. it is a common issue in peri /meno. like you my ecgs were fine. all down to hormonal changes. but hard to think rationally whilst its happening! look up magnesium for palpitations in menopause, good luck x

Which are the carb foods
