I've once again found something else to worry about. I had a few heart palps during intercourse. It happened maybe 2 times.. I've never had them during sex before that, and before my anxiety diagnosis in february, I had palps maybe twice a year.. Now I've of course googled and read that heart attacks can happen during sex, that palps are warning signs, and now I'm terrified of sex.. Does anybody else randomly get these? Why do I all of a sudden get them now but never did before? I've had bloodwork, chest xray, ekg and ct in February. All clear.
Your now aware of every symptom and sensation you feel. Thats all. The mind just needs to stop thinking sometimes. Jeez dont allow anxiety to make a new rule! Thats all it does like a huge big bully it makes rules so every time you get an anxiety you cant do that thing, or go to that place and before you know it youre imprisioned completely by it. Mkserable and caged in all by a misunderstanding of a disorder. Best to just go and speak to your doctor about this and be honest.
Thank you, it just sucks because like you said I'm aware of it all, so during excersising, intercourse, whatever it may be I find myself trying to slow my heartrate, when before I had this issue I never even considered my heartrate. That alone should tell me it's anxiety but until my doctor allows me a cardiologist visit it's going to drive me insane. I guess I should be happy that four of them have told me I do not need to see one because all tests have been clear but still
Part of this disorder is the lack of trust. I wonder if the nuerotransmitters that are messed up and cause anxiety attacks effect trust as well. It would be interesting if someone looked into that. All of us seem to have trust issues with doctors and within ourselves. Or Possibly because our bodies betrayed us messed up our thinking. i am not sure. you know rationaly this is a disorder and it is not a heart issue that needs attention. Its fine to go anead and get a cardiac work up, but be sure to believe the results. The one thing doctors do know are heart issues and they know well what to look for. Im going to send you a link through messages. It is helpful and will explain a lot to you. Stay strong
