I have just been told my pancreas isn’t working properly had ct scan showed not working ,I’m on medication but don’t know much more my sugar leaves keep dropping anything from 2.2 and siting around 4.8 max after food.. any help would be great xx
The pancreas makes insulin which regulates glucose levels. If your pancreas is not making insulin at all, making too little of it or poor quality insulin, you may have diabetes which can cause weight loss and fatigue. Another telltale sign of this is extreme thirst. Type 1 diabetes tends to be autoimmune and causes the pancreas not to produce insulin at all. Type 2 diabetes is when poor quality or not enough insulin is made.
My GP taken me of crean 25000 300g yesterday morning tablets as I became ill and in a lot of pain.. and I’m in a lot of pain now.

What will happen... CT scans showed it’s not working..
You will need to keep going back to your doctor.
They trying again with crean 25000 300g with foods so far so good on fentanal patches for pain... over Christmas my sugar leaves are 4.2 max, after eating I’m having chocolate and lucozade drinks for sugar leaves but also get lots of pain after eating from pancreas .. I can’t seem to win..🤔.. my Doctors pass the buck..
Have you had your amylase and lipase levels checked? These are pancreatic enzymes.

I would ask your specialist to give you specific details in plain English about what is actually wrong with your pancreas
