Pancreatic Cancer?

Hi, some of you may remember me for

Severe health anxiety, I posted a while ago complaining of pain in my lungs when I breathed in the morning, anyway got chest x ray and also asthma tests and ecg and bloods in January, all was ok. I still have the pain in my back almost where my bra strap is on the left when I deep breath o can feel it also, I also suffer with occasional acid and front stomach pain and i feels sore if I push in between rib cage and when I push my stomach in and out quickly it makes a squelchy airy noise but not gas, and if I push close to stomach near ribs on left it makes a squelch noise, I am only 27 and am terrified I have pancreatic cancer and it’s a tumour causing all this please help I’m terrified and can’t enjoy life anymore!

Hello! Am sorry for all those pains you are going through. But As I my self have issues regarding pacreatic disorder, I visit GI specialists and undergone ct, mri and EUS and possibly I might have mild chronic pancreatitis just from my symptoms. To reply to your question, I recommend you see pancreas specialist. But from what I read, pancreatic cancer never occurs at your age. Never! The average age for pancreatic cancer is over 60. But some people develop in their late 40s or early 50s. Wishing you a better life.

If you have concerns go to your doctor. And stop prodding yourself - of course it will hurt and make squelchy noises if you push hard on your stomach. That’s just daft.  I’ve had pancreatic cancer and believe me, the pain is excruciating when it comes.

Have you had an abdominal ultrasound or endoscopy done? Gastritis and GERD can cause referees back pain as well. It might help to put your mind at ease. Also see if they’ll do a full blood work on pancreas and liver counts.
