Panic and Anxiety from the moment I wake up

I wake up early every morning and lately I've woke up panicked. I worry about every little thing and can't go back to sleep. Every ache, every pain is an issue. Does anyone else have this? I remember panicking when I was a child if I got to school late. It's the same feeling I had back then. I was able to go most of my life without medication for it but now I'm on Lexapro and I still have the panic. Does anyone else?

Depending on how long you have been taking the medication, should be arund four/five weeks you may be still having side effects. Give it time to work

As a matter of interest you mention when you were late for school, do you feel it was after that you started with your Anxiety or before. The reason I ask, could it be you had become sensitized then and this as the first time your Anxiety raised its head and caused how you feel now ? Just a suggestion.

You need to consider when you became so uptight with your Anxiety,

Smetimes to look for reasons will help us move on, I remember when I was at Infant School another child stabbed me with a lead pencil and left the point deep in my skin, They took me to the first aide and could not get the point out of my skin. Even sixty years later I can still see the lead in my skin and the groove where it entered my body. Although it did not do much harm. It was a bad memory made worse by the child that stabbed me through to a rib. This seemed to make me very cautious, a memory over many decades.

I don't think it's the first attack I had but I remember it happens in quite often. This set was brought on by the chest pain I started to have. I'm sure of that. Right now I'm at the dentist's office and I'm really worried and all I'm doing is sitting in the chair about to get x-rays I hate feeling like this. I've only been taking the full pill a couple of weeks before I only took half at night.

I'm sorry that happened to you as a kid. Kids can be horrible sometimes
