My xhusband had panic attacks often, so much so he couldn't sit still, couldn't drive for weeks and weeks. He is also BPolar. He was hospitalized. They gave him a series of shock treatments. After the first one, and he woke up, he was a brand new relaxed person. The relief on his face and to see his whole body change was a miracle. It is not dangerous and should be looked into. They may tell you that you will need them also down the road as a preventative. My x did not do that and dso at this time he is in very, very bad shape but I can no longer assist him. It is so sad to hear he is in such serious shape again. He may be too far gone...to have any rational reasoning at this point. Please don't let your self get so bad you are unable to care for yourself in a sane way. Also, put your hope and trust and faith in God above. He loved you way before you came to be and is only a "talk" away. Ask God to help your unbelief and that you need Him to get you thru this dark time. God has never lied and He has never left your side. My very best to all of you and prayers as well.

Yes, a talk away. I don't talk to God but rather my father who's in heaven to help give me the strength to endure.
So your X had the shock treatment done and it worked so what happened 2 send him off the deep end then?
Not that I'm looking into it or am even that bad but what is a shock treatment? Is it just what it sounds like they shock your body?
Don't beat yourself up there's only so much you can do some ppl just can't be saved...
