Panic

Axiety attacks bad i cant seem to move, cant talk dont want to eat.

Hi Katherine, I am sorry you are having to deal with anxiety. Just keep in mind the anxiety will pass and you will feel better. Try to do breathing exercises. Breathe in deeply and exhale slowing. Count your breaths. It sounds simple, but it really helps. Try talking to someone. It helps not to deal with the anxiety alone. If the anxiety does not pass within a few days, go see your doctor. You are not alone here. There are lots of us dealing with the same thing.

Ive seen my GP suggested changing meds but im to affaid to

I recently had to change up my meds. Sometimes the change works and unfortunately, sometimes it doesn't. I was lucky this time because I feel so much better. I was riddled with anxiety and I was crying every day. Now, I still feel some anxiety, but it is manageable.

Im due to see my GP next week, which im already panicking about cause it means i will have to leave the house.

Do you have someone that can go with you? That might help.

Yes my Husband im very lucky I know a lot of peeps are on their own. What if I cant be helped or I feel this way forever i cant see an end to it im so frightened

Hi Katherine. Everybody who has suffered with anxiety will agree it is frightening and we think we can't go on. I hope the replies you get here reasure you you can get help and it does get better as you learn to understand it more, glad you have hubby for support , I tried to hide stuff from hubby for a long time using every excuse as I was anxious to do anything. With his support, help from docs, etc, you will get through this. Great advice here on breathing etc and talking to people who are going through exactly the same as you helps to reasure you that you are not alone, know things seem hopeless sometimes but try to be positive knowing people out here understand and there is professional help available❤️

Anxiety attacks can be soooo awful! Please see a doctor about this. They can prescribe medicine to you if they are that severe. I have them once in a while. I know that caffiene, small spaces, and stress cause mine. If you smoke or drink a lot of caffiene you may want to stop or cut back...sometimes you can find your trigger. Sometimes not. Drug withdraw can also feel similar.

What do you take now? What did dr suggest?  Some meds make anxiety worse, others make you sleepy.  Get the right one and you wont look back.
