Panicking about my health. Can't sleep right now.

I’ve been sick for almost a week now and not sure if it’s the mild covid or the cold symptoms. It started off with a sore throat and then it led to a runny nose and sneezing a lot. Body aches such as back pain and head pressure. I’m really nervous to find out what it is, but I’m hoping it’s nothing too serious. I don’t have any fever going on, no loss of taste or smell yet. Should I be a bit concerned, if not, what can I do to take care of myself to recover quickly? I have been fatigued a lot, I been resting mostly and making sure to stay hydrated as well. Any advice someone can share?

it’s possible you have a common cold. You could have a mild form of Covid. The common cold is actually a coronavirus , but not the mutated form that we know of now . don’t be overly concerned. Take care of yourself like you do when you have a cold or flu.. Take vitamins, including vitamin C and D. , drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, take a nice warm bath for body aches, get lots of rest. and avoid people right now. Even if you have Covid, these are the things they would tell you to do. Sounds like you don’t have a cough or fever so whatever you have it seems to be mild. 99.9% of people recover very well from covid if that’s what you have. just let your doctor know if symptoms get worse like if you develop a cough or fever.
if you decide to get tested you can just do the drive up testing so you don’t have to go in anywhere. Like I said even if it’s positive, just take care of yourself. You’re gonna be OK!

Also, if you can’t get to sleep, take your mind off of this and listen to some peaceful music, stories, or meditation on YouTube . you will be focused on something else and before you know it you’ll be asleep.
