Anyone else gained weight since taking this?
Its possible I did but I can't be sure.
A year a go I took it for 6 months. During that time my weight grew 5Kg.
I stopped taking it because it was having no effect on my reflux and I lost 5 Kg.
However I had not associated the weight changes with this drug at the time or paid close attention to the time frames and weight changes so can't be sure really. I was changing my diet as well to stop reflux so that could have been it as well. However when I lost the weight it came off really fast, within a month. It surprised me at the time.

Iv not gained weight at all, if anything Iv lost weight. The doctor said it was to prevent the acid from going up into the esophagus area. i weigh 64kg I use to weigh 66kg. Im hoping to get back up to 66kg, I was happier then. Im not sure I feel like there is something bulgy in my esophagus throat area though thats what it feels like to me but the doctors have felt around my gland area and didnt feel any swollen glands, in the meantime Im still waiting to be seen by a specialist the wait time is 4 months, I get nauseated after eating . and burp constantly my mother gets annoyed with it but I honestly cannot help it.its quite annoying actually . I dont want it to get to the stage where I cant do anything thats what Im scared of and I hope its not serious.
I gained a bunch of weight when I was taking Prilosec
That sounds like your gallbladder to me
