Hi,
I’ve posted on here a few times regarding anxiety. I’ve been experiencing what I think are anxiety symptoms. Chest pain, shoulder pain, back pain, stomach pain...short of breath. Thing is these can suddenly come on or are worsened when I’m thinking about it. Now the chest pain isn’t unbearable it’s just the odd stabbing or burning pain...sometimes more in my left breast then the middle of my chest. Symptoms seem worse when I’m on my period? Not sure if this is the cause and my anxiety makes it worse. I’m terrible for looking up symptoms online and all I’ve seen is ‘angina’ I’ve started to work myself up to think it’s that. Angina runs strongly in my dads side of the family (my dad doesn’t have it) and now I’m getting myself worked up. I go to the gym and this doesn’t affect it...Infact it helps with my anxiety. I really do feel daft at times and rarely talk about it to anyone including doctors cos I feel so stupid! I wouldn’t even know where to beginning explaining it. Anyone else have anxiety relating pain and what does it feel like?
I have severe anxiety issues and they hit me out of NOWHERE!!!! What happens with me when I start having an attack is: My breathing changes to normal breathes to fast breathes with a rapid heartbeat, any limb or part of my body will start to go numb and eventually lock into a certain position once I start hyperventilating. I've never experienced any pain with my panic attacks or anxiety but everyone is different. I hope you are able to get this squared away soon! I'd recommend going to a doctor because I thought I was having a stroke and it was actually just a panic attack. Best of luck!
Omg im the same as you. Ive been like this every day for over 2 months. within 20 mins of getting up wham they hit me and stay all day. Ive had all tests done and alls fine but boy its freaking me out. xx
Hi, it eases me to know I’m not alone. I have IBS, well I think it’s IBS! I had a bad experience with a doctor (miss diagnosed me and I ended up in hospital very poorly) ever since the I try my hardest not to go...I try and find more own explanation which isn’t the best thing to do. I have pretty bad health anxiety that brings on all kinds of symptoms but recently I had what I think was a IBS flare up. I’ve had a couple in the past and when I did pluck up the courage to see a doctor they told me it’s sounded like IBS and that was that. Anyways since having a flare up a few weeks ago my stomach and chest just haven’t been right! I always feel like I have trapped wind in my left breast/shoulder...my stomach growls and it feels like trapped wind in my lower stomach, it’s sending my anxiety through the roof! All I’m thinking is ‘it’s my heart’ honestly it’s driving me insane. I have a Fitbit and check my pulse all the time. (It’s always normal) I just hate feeling like this. Sorry for long post...it’s just nice to vent sometimes.
