Passsion flower

Hi All

I have been on Citalropram for maybe 9 months now, started on 20mg and am now on 10mg, I went on it because I wasn't coping particularly well and things were starting to get on top of me.

I was wondering what your thoughts are on taking Relax Herb Passion flower to complement it, I am starting to feel that I want something to help to switch my brain off for a little while, switch of the analysis etc, I would just like to think of cute puppies and kittans for a bit, do you think I would be ok to take them both together?

Hi, I am currently on Citalopram for depression and considered herbal remedies, but you really need to check with your GP as some herbs can interact severely with antidepressants.  One to definitely stay clear of is St Johns Wort.  Hope you find something to help x

HI Phoebe

thanks for getting back to me, I realise I probably should check, but I am so frustrated with having an over active mind, about half an hour ago I took 2 co-codemol which seems to have done the trick, though I do feel a tad spaced out lol.  Maybe I will pick some up and chat it over with the doc the next time I see her

Hi Daisy! I'm on citalopram 10mg too!

I went to holland and Barratt and got some Bach remedies to put in my water everyday.. it works a treat. I use rock rose, star of Bethlehem and sweet chestnut. All relax you and good for anxiety etc.

It took 3 days to work on me.

I'm going to check I can have them with my citalopram... because I didn't check. But so far so good.

Also chamomile tea works amazing! Have only up to 4 cups a day though evacuee it's like a sedative.

Also elderflower cordial in your water helps.

Deffo keep away from St. John's wort. Xx
