I have recently been subscribed Paxil. I have been taking 20mg for 7 days and today is the 2nd day of 40mg. I AM NOT FEELING ANY RELIEF YET!!!! Help me understand
Meds aren't a miracle cure for anxiety, sometimes they don't work at all. The cause of the anxiety needs to be addressed, not just the symptoms of it
Meds don't work instantly and you might not even notice the difference for a while. Ask your friends if they're noticing any difference and hopefully they'll start to notice something.
If they don't help at all don't worry, the doctor can try out different meds with you and there are other solutions yet like exercise and CBT.
