PCOS and pregnant

Well i have PCOS and i had a miscarriage 2 months ago. So i decided the next time if it happens it will be planned and i will start charting and everything and here i am 5 weeks and 4 days. This have definately been a journey. I take metformin 500mg 3 times a day and i am afraid if i jump of it that my body will not respond well and i will lose the baby. I went to the doctor and she wanted to take me off and i said no im not going to do that. Anyway i asked for my progesterones levels to be checked and she thought it wasn't necessary cause i shouldn't get wrapped in the numbers of my hcg or progesterones levels, i told her i insist since that was the reason i miscarried last time. Anyway have anyone experience this

Hi Felicia I have PCOS for 3 years now and take metformin once a day and i just found out yesterday i am pregnant with my first 8 weeks right now i go to a specialist wed. If the doctor says anything that might help i will definitly ask and give you an answer/

Thanks a lot, im so nervous, i really want this pregnancy to make it.

Hi again I had my doctors appointment today and my doctor told me to stay on my metformin because it helps prevent miscarrige and diabetes. I am now 9 weeks and have a strong heart beat. This baby is truly a blessing for me and I just wish you the best with your pregnancy

Thanks for the reply i went last week and they said my progesterone was normal and i ask for them to put me on progesterone suppositories and she did. I go for my ultra sound on wednesday april 1st to hear the heartbeat. Im so excited i am now 7 weeks and 1 day. Im also continuing to take me metformin 3 times a day 1500mg.
