I have been recently diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease. ..I have finished the antibiotics but I'm still in agony...can anyone shed any light on this. ..I'm ready to run away

i have several friends who had PID and found out they had Celiac disease, whcih was the cause of the PID. Have you also been tested for CD? Not all people with BID have CD, but it is good to know so you can rule it out and treat it it if necessary.

Thanks Dee for ur reply. ..no I haven't been tested for it but all I can say is that I'm in so much pain.I took my period as normal but the loss got so heavy that the Miren Coil fell out....The doctor was happy as he thought it was the cause of the infection. But the pain is unreal.

I sure the pain is unreal, most of us out here have experienced a lot of pain from one thing or another.  it's pretty amazing that people surivive at all!  I really hope the doc is right, but if the pain is still really super bad, keep telling the doc till they listen. "squeaky wheel get the grease" as my sister always says. 😊
