Hi daisy54
i bought a kegal8 and was using this before going to drs about my prolapsed bowel and bladder (mine were grade 2). I was referred to a specialist and his options for me after an examination were leave it alone, it won't kill me!! A pessary ring or and operation. He didn't even mention pelvic floor exercises. I tend to think that if you have a prolapse that is significant (2 or above) then the damage is done and pelvic floors will only help slightly. I could be wrong, this is just my opinion after my experience. Defo worth keep going with the exercises tho even if it is for a small benefit.
Good luck
Hi Daisy, how are your kegal exercies going? I bought a kegal8 a few months ago but it irritated the rectocele and made it feel grazed. This also happens now when I have sex. I am very disappointed that I will have to have surgery for stress incontinence and the prolapse rectum.
Hi Daisy54, is the PelviTone helping? I read somewhere that it would be no use for Grade 3 or 4 prolapse, but could improve mild or Grade 1. 4 months post op the drs have said mine is 'negligible' / 'minimal'. I want to keep it that way, or better still, get rid of it altogether.
