I've noticed over the past few days some redness on my penis head. It seems to be most visible when totally soft. Is this anything to worry about?
Hi, it can be balanitis or a simple irritation. Is is itchy?
Update, went to the GP, he’s thinking it’s more just irritation/allergy. Not itchy at all and no recent sexual activity but still a little splotchy. I’ve recently started using a new washing powder that has been leaving sediment on my clothing, I’m thinking it could be that.
Had a followup visit today to the GP it’s almost cleared up, I asked if it could be Balanitis, he said it would be unlikely, since I don’t have a foreskin, apparently it’s not that common if you are circumcised? He agreed it could have been a reaction to the new laundry detergent. Panic is over.
