My penis has a very good life. But, he does have a lot of "down" days. I'd be depressed if he never got hard at all. In your case, diabetics frequently have ED (erectile dysfunction). You should probably talk to a urologist. They can check to see if the blood vessels in your penis are damaged by the diabetes, or if the issue is something else entirely. Good place to start.
