Hi, about 7 years ago I had an accident and cut my penis quite a bit, I can’t remember the incident too well but there was a bit of blood and I needed stitches, as far as I can tell the wound was severe it cut deep and I have a large scar and I am worried that it may have cut as deep as the dorsal nerve, I hardly ever get aroused and I’m worried about the long term effects, what tests can I have done to make sure there isn’t permanent damage? Will I need an Xray? Is it possible to transplant this nerve or stimulate healing with Stem Cell therapy? (I can’t afford them anymore) Any advice on a 2 to 3 inch cut that is making me unaroused would really help. Thanks.
The situation you are in means that you have very few options: the specialist that can help from a normal medical perspective would be a Urologist.
In practical terms, unless you hit lucky, in most health care systems they will take your money off you for little more than giving an opinion, and, usually, any practical therapies and interventions are really expensive.
The alternative approach would be to consider things like therapeutic massage - this approach would be really long-term, and, until you perfected techniques and practiced them for many years, it is unlikely that this would make a huge amount of difference. One main benefit you would get is the psychological acceptance that, yes, this is difficult situation, but at least you are taking practical steps to improve on your situation
