i was diagnosed at 17 with UC and am now 19 , you can ask your consultant to give you a leaflet containing information regarding different syptoms and how UC has an impact on your life. After treatment for a recent flare up i was able to meet with a dietician who gave me information on what types of food would help to keep another flare up at bay.
