hello today at work i was at work and i was standing and i saw eye floaters and i got ansiety. Im not sure if was streess my son and i had an argument and i went to work and i experience that . is not the first time. i been check for heart disease, stroke and im just here crying my eyes out dont know what the hell is going on. my period came a week early and im almost done. have anyone experience this ? im 48
Hi Eliamee, I have had poor eyesight my whole life and astigmatism in both eyes. I see floaters, corkscrew worm things, snow if I look at a white wall. My eye dr told me it is just the vitreous jelly in the back of my eye breaking down…and the floaty things are basically the microscopic particles floating around and reflecting in the back of the eye. As we age, it gets more frequent and hormone fluctuations cause it too! I see all kinds of crap on a bad day…usually much worse if I have a headache brewing…but I do not get aura. Stop worrying! If it was a detached retina, pain would be horrible and it would be like a curtain over your vision.. If you were having a stroke…you would not be typing or reading right now!
forgot to mention. omega3 vitamins are supposed to be good for eye health. Although, I have taken it for years and see no difference!
