Hi. I have written before about this but after 6 months the hundreds of spots on my back are still there. They appeared after an operation and a later infection in the wound, which has cleared up now. Dr says they are looking better but I think that's mostly because my wife pops them and dabs them with Betadine and then smears Locoid Lipocream 0.1% on my back. But they are still coming back! So what is the cause? My diet maybe? I eat quite healthily, don't drink or smoke and am as active as I can be with an incisional hernia
Continuing.... on the scar. Any ideas anybody? Minor skin cancer removed, emergency bowel cancer surgery, wound infection, spotty back, incisional hernia and piles now. That's about enough.... Thanks.
Here it is. The dark spots are harmless, not melanoma!
Hi, I wonder if you could try lasering a few to see how they respond. A dermotologist would do this (if they thought it would help).
I also wonder if your immune system is down. Try taking lots of Vitamin C and B vitamins, plus fish oil. Fish oil is really good for the health of our skin. Don't worry, it won't make your skin oily - the cell membrane is made up of fatty acids and that is why we need fish oil for healthy cellular exchange.
I think I would consult an alternative doctor regarding my immune system since so far the one you are seeing now is not helping. i sure hope you find something that helps soon.
