Perimenopause and pains

I’m 45 and we’ll into Perimenopause. I noticed I’ve been getting a lot of tendonitis and pains here and there in my body, and a stiff neck

Anyone have this ? Do you think it’s low estrogen?

Hi Aberzerk72, don't get me started! I have pain in different places on different days: pain in back an shoulders, upper chest muscles and a stiff neck. Or pain in my upper abdomen - sort of muscle cramp (that goes into my chest and convinces me it's heart-related). Or cramp odd, shivery feelings in my arms and legs and weak, cold extremities that go stiff. That's all besides the dizziness!!! Apparently, my GP says it is hormonal. It's horrible but laughable when I see it written down like this. This is probably the only place people will understand. I do hope you get relief soon. X

Hi Aberzerk72

Your not alone. I have pains in my wrist, thumb and I am off work today because I can’t lift my left arm it hurts so much. I don’t fancy HRT so i’m Hoping it will pass sooner rather than later.

I've had a stiff neck for a couple weeks which I thought was due to stress.  My elbow aches at times which I could overuse.  At 48 I'm sure it's arthritis.  So I try to get to the pool as much as i can.   Trying ACV everyday to see if that helps.

Thanks ladies!! Yes itseveryday a different part hurts then goes away , minus the areas that got tendonitis. Ppl say do yoga.. how can I went I can’t ever use any parts!!! Lol

And I also get this tightness in my chest that hurts so bad.. not like a heart issue but like a frozen chest!!

Wahhh.. this sucks so bad I want to be 22 again 😡😪

I know hun, it's just awful

there are supplements which can help

I'm afraid I have forgotten exactly which ones, some of the other girls know.

Magnesium, B12 etc, doses required

sending you a big hug x

Hello Kelly

what's ACV please

Mrs M

Apple cider vinagar....

and turmeric

I am taking b12 sublingually. Average was 200-1100 and I was at 230. Went back to rheumy who said if numbers don’t raise I’ll need shots.

I take mg for tendons.

So hoping it’s just my low estrogen. I did excessive exercise for years so hoping it’s nothing more major

Thanks

Hi Aberzerk7, i am in peri and have had a sore neck since june. I am currently having physio but it does not seem to help. I can move my neck in every direction but my muscles are just so tight. I have tried yoga, heat pads, heat rubs, nothing helps.
