Perimenopause

So have been peri nearly 5 years now. I haven't had a period for 3 months now. But the hot flushes are worse now than they have ever been is this normal when there's no periods if that makes sense. Also I have noticed pelvic lower back and thighs ache like anything is this all normal to peri plz I'm panicking myself senseless and keep googling I'm 45 by the way

im the same age as you and i believe mine started few years back, however periods have only become abnormal this year, longest cycle 54 days and just had a 43 day, i get the lower back ache, but flushes seem to have eased for now, i did go 3 straight weeks daily with them a few months back, my muscles are sore, no pelvic pain but definitely the lower back, some days i feel 80.
everyday is different, yesterday i felt quite good yet today head feels foggy and tight, hope this helps but if pelvic pain does not ease maybe see doct just to be checked out.

I had a hysterectomy in my early 30s but kept my ovaries, Im 52 and bc of no periods i have no idea where im at in this nightmare. Started with symptoms almost 5 yrs ago. But even with no period the hot flashes and night sweats are off the charts! Mysterious body aches come and go daily, Ive started playing a guessing game where I’m going to ache when I wake up lol. Best advice is stay away from google and take it day to day since there’s no cure for this cruel joke women are cursed with.

hi yasmin. I am 48 and started peri about 5 years ago. periods have been irregular the past couple of years. i used to only get night sweats occasionally and they weren’t that bad. The last period I had was July 1 and sometime in August I started having lots of hot flashes especially in the evenings. They have settled down this month. i still haven’t had a period
