Period pain with menopause

Hi all I've been getting period pains in the bottom of my tummy no bleeding. Also my right kidney keeps hurting. Is this normal please

Hi Kim

The symptoms your having can be all to do with the menopause but if i was you I would get it checked out because every doctor blames everything on the menopause when it could be something completely different . My friend was told by the doctor that it was her menopause but in the end it was something very serious and she put up with it for a long while .

hi kim i get them too. i’ve heard and read it can be “phantom periods” ive been keeping a chart since last july… seems like they cone around the same time each month..:heart:

Hello Kim. I am also a kim from 1971. I am going through the same thing. Severe period pain without the period coming. Im afraid I may have seen my last one which worries me because I dont want to be stuck with the bloating and no energy. Even going through perimenopause my period brought some relief for a week or two. Im hoping its just late this time. I never really know when its coming but the pain always seems to be there. Sorry you are going through this.

Hi I’ve not had a period for 6 months and don’t normally get pains it’s weird x

Hi isn’t it awful what we go through it gets me down can’t remember the last time I felt normal x
