Been dealing with diziness for a few years now. I have certain days like today, where the slightest movement of my head makes me exextremely dizzy. Even shaking my head yes or no hurts really bad. I've had MRI's, MRA's, and CT scans and all have been negative. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks
Sorry for that, I have had it for more than 3years, whereby even sleeping in a certain position bring up the dizziness. Tests after tests revealed that I had positional vertigo (bppv). I have been prescribed medications which didn't seem to help. I tried vestibular maneuvers but they seemed to cause more dizziness. Am just there with no solution yet. I have some really bad days that I just sleep however I also have good days that I even forget that it does exist.
I find that diet is a big issue with my dizziness. Nowadays. I try to eat less gluten type of breads/pizza
Try to eat healthier, like lots of veggies and lean meats, fish and poultry. Avoid junk food as much as possible. It seems to me that once I cut out all that junk processed food my vertigo and head issues went away. When I tried to go all vegetarian my symptoms worsened so eating protein is a big plus in stopping the pain & lightheaded dizziness. Hope this helps.
There's more testing came narrow it down to what's causing it. VNG testing etc. Neurotologist is the doc deals with vestibular connections to the brain. Not sure about where you live but those docs are few and far between around here. I am being referred to one is about a hour away.
To understand your symptoms, are there days where you have no symptoms at all? And if so, how long is this symptom free period?

No i never have days that are completely symptom free.
Are you taking any medication for your symptoms? If you are dizzy every day was your heart checked too. Blood pressure is that fine? These can cause dizziness. Lack of iron vitamin d and I think b12 can also cause this.. do you get any neck pain? I take it your eyes have been tested too? Computers, tv long periods of that can cause dizziness...what makes its worse..
Hi Liz, Yes I've had every cardiac test from multiple cardiologists. The only thing they found is that I do get PVCs and PACs but only about 10-15 a day. I do notice my eyesight has got drastically worse over the past year so that crossed my mind as playing a part. My BP is in the 110/68 range give or take. I've always been physically active my whole life and about five years ago I started to get extremely fatigued and dizzy Plus too many other symptoms to the list and after seeing multiple neurologists I was diagnosed with autonomic neuropathy. My neurologist blames my dizziness on the neuropathy, but I'm not even completely convinced it's a correct diagnosis. I was a healthy active 38 year old at the time of my diagnosis And it's very rare to get autonomic neuropathy at that age.
You mention pain. Where is this pain exactly? Vestibular symptoms are not associated with pain.
