So I have the contraceptive implant in my left arm, I’m 19 and it’s due to be taken out and re inserted in August. My periods before lasted 2 days, but were very heavy - since I’ve had the implant I’ve had no periods at all.. But in the past month and a bit ago, I started to bleed and I was in such pain I had to stay in my bed. I bled for about a week, then it stopped - then came back over a week later for the same time - I haven’t had a period since two weeks ago but I’ve just started again. Could it be due to my implant ‘running out’ as such, like is it possible it’s because its due out soon?
Also, I’ve lost my appetite and hunger over all - don’t feel hungry at all, and barely can stomach down a sandwich without feeling ill. Which stated with these periods. Any help / advice would help!
