2 weeks down…6 to go. I am shocked with how little pain I have experienced post surgery. Definitely some discomfort but nothing unbearable and easily controlled with Ibprofen and Aleve PM. Supposed to go see the doc Thursday to get cast put on but we are going to get hit with a blizzard so Monday it is. Almost 3 weeks post op but it means one less week in cast…kinda getting used to the splint. The nurse told me I will go to boot for 2 weeks NWB after cast and then weight bear as I feel up to for one month in boot before starting PT. Does that sound right to yall??
