27 y.o male 1.74m 66kg. hitting weights 3 days a week for almost 4 years. I've had some anxiety issues last year cuz' of preworkout stimulants. Now i'm trying to be as healthy as possible but I have a strange problem: Every 2-3 months i'm starting to have some strange symptoms out of nowhere that last over a week:
extreme yawning !!!
loss of appetite
nausea
increased salivary secretion.
the need to drink something fresh like lemonade
I have no trouble sleeping whatsoever. Did my bloodwork and everything is OK. In this period i can barely eat 2000kcals and I yawn ALL DAY ! It's like my brain is not getting enough oxygen. This is freaking me out because I have a fast metabolism and loose weight very fast If I cut calories. My question is: What kind of doc should I talk about this ? It's getting frustrating.
Id start with your general GP if your still having symptoms, your GP may then refer you to a specialist given what you GP may think it is..
The symptoms don't sound like they are anxiety related.
At least your bloods have come back ok.
Sorry can't offer you much more advise.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear about your recent concerns. I think it would be wise to make an appointment with your primary care Dr and if need be they will refer you to the proper specialist should you need to be seen by one.
Technically speaking yawning is caused by lack of oxygen but don't panic reading that as you know everyone yawns esp when they are tired. I am not a Dr but your symptoms do not sound like typical anxiety symptoms to me. I'm not saying you have some serious ailment but it would be beneficial to go over your symptoms with your Dr.
Come back and let us know how you make out ♡
