Physical Symptoms of Anxiety

Hey! I’m writing because I’ve been suffering with physical symptoms of anxiety for a few months now. It started last summer with some vertigo that doctors didn’t find what the cause was. It lasted 3 weeks and then it came back in December for like 1 week and in January it came back as well as with other symptoms: heart palpitations, dizziness, head aches, visual disturbances, sleep disturbances, feeling like i’m floating, among others. I just feel ill every day and I’m just so tired all the time. I never have energy anymore and it is really affecting my life and happiness. Could all this be anxiety? And I just started medication, will the medication help me? Honestly I can’t continue like this. This all happened when I left home to study and live on my own. I feel like I made a mistake by trying to follow my dreams. I was so positive about the move to Germany and about this new chapter in my life but now i’m regreting even leaving in the first place, because anxiety started. Please someone tell me if i’m going to live like this forever. 

Anxiety can be managed so you can feel better. Start helping the meds with things you can do to bring calm to your self. Do mindful meditation every day.  Change can be difficult I struggle with that as well but my anxiety calms over time. And remember anxiety will not hurt you, deep breath you can follow  your dreams and feel better just make sure you give yourself some support.

Thank you so much! So eventually the physical symptoms will go away? I just started meditation a few days ago and I’m really loving it. I’ll also start boxing classes (i love them), yoga and healthy diet. Hope this all works! 😊
