I have recently put onto Citalopram for 3 weeks and I just wanted to check if anyone else is in my situation.
I went to the doctors with this annoyance/pain of my clothes rubbing me near my neck/upper back. It has become very irritating and I become very irritable and get angry very quickly due to this.
I’ve had this for nearly 3 years and I’d previously have massages/physio/chiropractor etc which has helped a little bit but hasn’t really solved the issue.
Originally we thought this feeling was due to tight muscles but even when I don’t feel tight, I still get the feeling.
This feeling has caused me to feel very down (to the point where i was crying most days as I have had enough!) and so I decided to go to the doctors.
She has prescribed me Citalopram which I’m hoping will sort my mood out eventually. However, I’m just wondering if it is going to sort out these physical feelings as well. I’m coming to terms with the fact these heightened nerve feelings are due to anxiety/stress/depression instead of the other way round (which is what I originally thought).
I was just wondering if anyone else gets similar physical symptoms?
