Had my first proper physio appt yesterday, she seemed pretty pleased with my progress ...I've to start walking without any sticks in the house ..one stick outside ,two if it's icy
Best thing though was that I managed to have a bath ,,hurray 🤗🤗..took a bit of organising but managed the whole thing myself ...
Slowly I'm improving, all the best to you all ...hippies United !!!😊 Gx
Great news Gail,
I would love a bath, only have shower at home and all the family only have showers... went on holiday hoping for bath tub.... nooooooo another shower...
I can think of nothing better than laying in nice warm bubbles surrounding me...
Keep up the good work... xx
Hi Gail how many weeks post op are you? I'm 9 weeks post op and im not allowed to have a bath I would love 1 and I'm having my other total hip replacement 6/12/16 so am not gonna be allowed a bath till march next year I have had to use crutches constantly as my leg length is so different where my right hip is now new and my left hip is totally shot due to severe osteoarthritis. Don't like to wish time away but really can't wait till the crutches are gone and I can soak in the bath xx

Good for you! You are now in the feeling human stage...
I'm nearly. 4weeks post op ..the physio seemed to be OK for me to have a bath ..have had both legs measured and both are same length ..I am being consistent with my exercises, still quite a struggle tho ...
Hope you get on OK ..especially getting the other hip done ..gx
