This is exactly what happened after my last replacement last year...apart from then they forgot to inform the dustruct nurses i was home too !!! So......do I need to speak to my Gp or hosp. I have a clinic appt in 4 weeks.
Thanks

*DISTRICT* not destruct nurses....although.....
YouTube Hip replacement exercise. All the therapy you need is in these videos unless your having pain and issues that require a PT. I scoured many of those videos and they are very informative. Hope that helps. I paid for two sessions of PT which were the same exercises I was already doing. Waste of a copay. My Dr gave us a full Notebook and a huge Binder concerining the before and after of all info needed for Hip Replacement. I guess I was fortunate. They must do it different . I live in the USA hospitals may be totally different here. You can find many websites also that show you the after care exercises and precautions etc. Become informed it is well worth it.
Gettting information depends on which health authority you are under. I am in North Yorkshire and was given a leaflet long before my op. This gave me illustrated excercises for both pre- and post-op periods. At around 3 weeks post-op I received an invitation for Physio at my local hospital.
13 days is very early days but you should have been given some guidance at least! I would definitely query this with your GP asap to ensure you are in the 'system' and will receive appropriate physio in due course as is your right under the NHS. Assuming you are under the NHS....
Physiotherapy is ESSENTIAL to successful recovery!
Good luck!

Where are you located? ??? After care serms to get very messed up.
Pocket physio app is produced by part of the NHS
I would speak to your GP if I were you, although not all Consultants beliebve in physio. Mins did and I have had 6 weeks physio and 6 weeks hydrotherapy. But others are told to just walk and walk and walk. Hope this helps Gilxx
