Physio

Yesterday was my first physio since discharge 6 weeks ago, I was surprised at how mush I could do, pushing up from seated without using arms and with bent knee, the clam lifts and pushing my bottom off the bed, lots to work on but felt quite inspired that I maybe able to walk without a waddle further down the line.

I belly dance as a hobby and having a bad hip really put a stop to this the physio even let me wiggle my hips lol

90 degree rule for another 6 weeks tho, I was showed a technique for putting on my own shoes which is going to take time ..

That is fantastic news. Glad you are allowed to wiggle again cheesygrin Life would be very dull without a wiggle.

It is impressive and inspiring that to know that things will become normal after the operation. I am also buoyed by the fact that you had physio after 6 weeks - there is hope.

Well done you - keep up the good work.

Excellent work.  I really hope to be able to dance again I was quite the keen dancer.  I hate this 90o rule its so restricting and it means that when I go out with my friends I have to stake out coffee shops with higher seats.  I hope to get back to all my previous hobbies which include skiing (next season) and horseriding hopefully in time.

Keeeeeeeep dancing!!

I have started picking things up from the floor doing the operated leg behind u rule , I practised sitting on lower chairs and it's such a shock going down so far but I managed, I am exactly the same tho re checking out seats just looking at some make me break out into a sweat lol
